HOW TO CHANGE A BLADE
Depending on your daily use, it is recommended to change your blade every 1 to 4 months for maximum performance.
Here’s the ultimate guide to changing the blades on your clipper/trimmer:
Start by carefully unscrewing the blades and lever from your tool, and don’t forget to remove the bracket. Make sure to keep an eye on the spring and pin from the lever; you wouldn’t want to misplace those!
Now it’s time to install the new blades.
FOR CLIPPERS: First, ensure that the clipper spring and blade carrier are securely in position. Press the cutting blade onto the blade carrier with a gentle but firm touch until you hear that satisfying click. Reattach the bracket, then align the holes of the fixed blade perfectly with those in the bracket. Secure it loosely at first, allowing you some wiggle room to align your blades. Once everything looks lined up, fully tighten the screws to ensure a solid fit. Finally, don’t forget to reassemble the lever.
FOR TRIMMERS: Check that the trimmer spring is properly in place. Position the cutting blade on top of the fixed blade so that they hold together seamlessly, allowing the cutting blade to glide from side to side. Line up the holes of the cutting blade with those in the trimmer, and then tighten the screws for a secure hold.
