HOW TO ZERO GAP

Zero-gapping involves adjusting both the fixed blade and cutting blade so that they align perfectly, eliminating any gap between them. This setup allows for an incredibly close cut, making it ideal for intricate detailing like skin fades and sharp outlines - all without the need for a razor.

FOR CLIPPERS: Start by ensuring your lever is in the shortest closed position. Once you've got that set, loosen the screws to give you some flexibility. Now, shift the fixed blade either up or down until you reach your preferred gap. Remember, a true zero gap means there’s no space at all between the tip of the fixed blade and the moving blade. Once you're happy with the alignment, carefully tighten the screws again, and double-check the blades for proper positioning. Be cautious not to over-tighten those screws!

FOR TRIMMERS: Begin by removing both the fixed and moving blades. Loosen the screws on the moving blade to allow for some adjustment. Depending on how tight you want your zero gap, shift the moving blade up or down in relation to the fixed clipper blade, but never go past it. A genuine zero gap means the tips of both blades sit flush together. When everything is aligned just the way you like it, it’s time to tighten those screws back up!
